So I stumbled across this cool linky party over at Living a Wonderful Life and thought I would join up as a way to get my blogging on track...
What am I obsessed with?
1. Blog stalking! I have been doing it all year and it is definitely an obsession!! My husband says "surely you've read everything every teacher out there has to say by now haven't you?" Is that even possible? He just doesn't understand how many wonderful teachers there are that share ideas for the classroom! I just seem to be better at borrowing ideas than putting my own down to share! I'll get there though! This obsession has led me to start keeping a record of my own teaching for the time when I start working on becoming Nationally Board Certified.
2. Coffee! I drink way way way too much coffee!! Not only do I start the day with it hot, then I switch to iced coffee to keep me going! I don't even have a favorite! Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds...it all works for me :)
3. Books! I am overly obsessed with books. I have way too many, but then again I don't ever seem to have enough!! I always have a list of books I want for when we might happen to stop at the bookstore! I can never pass up the pile of free books others are getting rid of at the beginning/end of the year. The problem with this is how to store them for the summer!! I have an office at home with 3 bookshelves but it isn't enough! On my list of reading for the summer is...No More I'm Done, The Cafe Book, and The 50 Shades of Grey!! Gotta fit a little fun time in ;)
4. Organizing! I would have to say this is my biggest obsession. Just ask my kids and they will tell you that I am OCD about everything having a place! Pretty bad when all your water bottles in the fridge even have to be lined up with the labels facing the front! It just looks so much neater :)
